2006 Championship Team - Southern Fusion

Austaco's Annual Softball Tournament was held on April 10, 2006 at Havin’s Field at Walnut Creek Park in Austin.

There were seven teams made up of a combination of the eleven TB districts and RSC employees plus one team that was fielded by Austaco Operations Services and included Austaco Vendors as well as Austaco Employees.

The tournament was double elimination thus each team had to loose twice in order to get eliminated. The team that won "Southern Fusion" made quick work of the competition and won the tournament with only playing three games, while their opponent in the championship game had to play four games.

As always the event was competitive with a great camaraderie between and among the teams. Our Softball Tournament is truly a family event; many families came to root for their teams.
